We currently stand at stud 2002 Friesian stallion 'Greon'.
Greon was chosen to bring height, modern style movement and build to our Friesian and Friesian Warmblood breeding program.
This stunning stallion has 3 excellent paces, large swinging walk, excellent reach at trot, and a well balanced uphill canter. He has loads of charisma, and while he is the new modern built Friesian he still offers the traditional traits we all love to much, such as flowing mane and tail, presence and playful loving nature.
As a foal Greon was presented at the 2003 NSW Kuering where he received a second premium and champion of the day. Then again as a 3 1/2yo and only just under saddle he again was presented to the judges from the Netherlands with again good comments, but due to age and not quite being mature enough just missed out on being upgraded to Ster, we will attend again in 2009 when Greon is mature and hope for success!
Greon is by well known stallion Teunis 332 who himself was a Champion in the Netherlands, Greon was bred by AI here in Aust by Fryske Hynder Stud in NSW.
For only his limited outings Greon is now a Multi Champion with wins both inhand and under saddle, and now he has began his Dressage career with success also having scores of over 68%.
Greon has a fabulous work ethic and superb trainability, his foals are possessing their fathers height, front movement and sensible confident nature.
