Friesian Mare - Asje

Asje is our foundation Friesian mare, she is of modern style with good length of rein, forward straight movement, an elegance and beauty that has most in awe of her, and loads of hair (her mane is now just over a metre long!) and curls! 

At the 2006 Kuering Asje was upgraded to BB1 Studbook. Asje is by the imported stallion Iepe Tj who has produced many show and competition winning horses since his entry into the country. Asje has an amazing disposition she is used frequently as a demonstration horse at promotional events for the Friesian Horse, she is a true ambassador for the breed.

Asje is an intelligent horse who moves out well under saddle, is quick to learn, and obliging in all situations, she is sensitive and sweet and passes these qualities onto her progeny. She has just been bred to Ebony Park Jorrit (Ster/Sport) for a October 2010 foal.
